Welcome to the Unnamed PubLab, the SFU Vancouver Podcast Studio and Publishing Maker Space.

Unnamed PubLab is a space for hands-on making, ranging from audio production, book arts, DIY publishing, and printmaking!

The lab prioritizes research and inquiry through making, with a focus on materiality, embodied learning, and experimental and creative approaches to publishing. It is a space for hands-on exploration, collaboration, and process-based learning.

The lab supports coursework, independent projects, workshops, and collaborative and experimental publishing practices for instructors, students and staff of SFU and their communities. Folks are welcome to use the space to work with tools and materials, try things out, develop ideas, prototype projects, or simply make cool things and taking an art-break.

Everyone using the space is expected to treat the equipment with care, leave the Unnamed PubLab clean and ready for the next people, and refrain from bringing food or drink into the Lab. (We have lead type. Don’t eat the lead type.)
